القواعد: Adjectives + Participles as Adjectives + Compound Adjectives

• تصف الصفة noun ولا تتغير في شكلها، وتأتي غالبًا قبل الاسم: a fragile reef / an endangered turtle.
• يمكن أن تأتي الصفة بعد أفعال الربط مثل be, seem, look, feel, become, smell, sound: The reef looks healthy. هنا لا نستخدم adverb بعد فعل الربط عندما نصف الفاعل.
• الصفة المنتهية بـ -ing تصف الشيء أو الموقف الذي يسبب الشعور: fascinating documentary, frightening storm, amazing discovery.
• لا نستخدم -ed عندما يكون المقصود وصف الشيء المسبب للشعور؛ فنقول The story is inspiring لأنها تُلهم الآخرين.
