Two fictional social-media accounts discussed the same museum exhibition. The first account praised the display for introducing young visitors to important objects and offering explanations in several languages. Its author posted photographs of interactive screens and described an enjoyable family visit. The second account focused on a different question: whether the exhibition explained how the objects had been collected and why their ownership might be debated.

A class comparing the posts noticed that neither author had necessarily invented facts. Each had selected details that supported a particular perspective. The students examined the exhibition's official description and read an interview with a museum researcher. They also considered comments from visitors with different backgrounds. This wider range of sources helped them see what each post included and what it left out.

Their teacher asked them to write a balanced response for younger readers. The students described the educational value of the exhibition while recognising that questions about cultural heritage deserve careful discussion. They included links to evidence and avoided attacking either account. The exercise showed how social media can open useful conversations about history when readers check information, respect different viewpoints and identify the limits of each source.
