In a small workshop, Mahmoud repaired bicycles using tools his grandfather had taught him to handle. When more customers began bringing electric bicycles, he realised that his experience was valuable but not sufficient for every new problem. He attended an evening course on electrical safety and basic digital diagnostics, even though he had not studied formally for several years.

At first, the unfamiliar software made him uncomfortable. A younger colleague showed him how to read error reports, and Mahmoud shared his knowledge of frames, brakes and mechanical faults in return. They agreed to stop work whenever a repair required skills or equipment they did not have. Customers appreciated their careful explanations and the written estimates provided before expensive work began.

Within a few months, the workshop could handle more kinds of maintenance, but Mahmoud continued learning. He had once believed that changing technology made old skills worthless. Now he understood that previous experience can become more useful when combined with training, teamwork and safe procedures. His story showed that adapting to future jobs often begins with the willingness to ask questions.
